Refund Policy
Effective: 3 September 2026 · Last updated: 3 September 2026
This policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for Case Desk Unlimited. It sits alongside Paddle's refund policy and your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
1. Who handles refunds
The Case Desk is operated by SAASILI LTD (company number 14512976), Flat 2 Kirstin Court, The Green, Eccleston, Chorley, Lancashire, United Kingdom, PR7 5TP. Paddle is our Merchant of Record: Paddle processes payments, issues invoices, administers billing and makes the final decision on payment and refund requests, applying Paddle’s refund policy and Paddle’s Buyer Terms. We support requests wherever we can, including confirming account and usage details to Paddle.
2. Try before you pay
Case 1 is free and does not require payment details, so you can experience the full investigation workspace before subscribing.
3. Requests within 14 days
You may request a refund within 14 days of the initial transaction where a statutory or contractual right to do so applies. Requests are reviewed on their merits and in line with Paddle’s refund policy; we cannot promise that every request will automatically be refunded.
4. Digital content and services already accessed
Case Desk Unlimited is a digital service supplied immediately. Where you have asked for immediate access and expressly acknowledged at checkout that you will lose your statutory right of withdrawal once supply begins, that right may be lost or reduced in proportion to the service already provided. Where that express consent was not captured, your 14-day withdrawal right continues to apply, and any deduction reflects only the portion of the period already supplied.
5. Renewals
Automatic renewals are separate transactions. Where a withdrawal right applies to a renewal — most commonly on an annual renewal — a request made within 14 days of that renewal charge will be considered on the same basis as an initial purchase, taking account of any use made since the renewal. To avoid an unwanted renewal, cancel before the renewal date.
6. Duplicate charges, billing errors, fraud and technical failure
If you have been charged twice, charged the wrong amount, charged on a card you did not authorise, or you cannot access the service you have paid for because of a fault on our side that we cannot resolve, contact us and Paddle straight away. These cases are handled outside the ordinary 14-day window and are corrected or refunded as appropriate.
7. Cancelling is not the same as requesting a refund
- Cancelling stops future renewals. Your access generally continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and no money is returned.
- A refund request asks for money already paid to be returned, and is decided by Paddle.
- Cancel at any time using Manage Billing on your Account page.
8. How to request a refund
Submit refund requests through Paddle’s buyer-support portal at https://paddle.net, using the email address you used at checkout or the details on your invoice. You can also email hello@saasili.com and we will help you raise it. Once a refund is approved, the time it takes to appear depends on Paddle and your bank or card issuer, so we cannot guarantee a processing time.
9. Your progress is safe
Refunds and cancellations never delete your gameplay progress, scores, case durations, notes, timelines, theories, archives or certificates. Subscriber-only cases simply lock again.
10. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights as a consumer, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
